Review of 11:14 (2004) by Shahriar A — 12 Nov 2009
The film is meerly an exercise in being clever, which it is, but there's really nothing else of value happening here despite the ecclectic cast. Had some of the events not been so inconceivable, the movie would have been more enjoyable.
Plotpoints pivot on events that just aren't believable, which is suicide for such a plot-driven story. It's predicatable, unfunny, and the score blows. I will say that things came together nicely with a few surprises in the finale and that Rachael Leigh Cook is really hot, but I am otherwise unenthused.
