Acting was good. Girl was good. Val Kilmer's cameo was random and unnecessary. Despite it's setting in South Philly, it was very obvious that it was filmed in Pittsburgh (especially when they left the camera on the "Wholly Market" sign for 10 seconds).
I don't know, it may be based on true-life accounts but that doesn't necessarily mean that it should've been turned into a movie. Good acting - that's all that I can say for this one.
