Review of 10,000 BC (2008) by Kunal S — 04 Dec 2011
As beautiful as the film is, I wouldn't classify it as captivating. I really felt like I was forcing myself to not only watch this movie but also enjoy it, and that is not a quality a film should have.
Some pet peeves: the inconsistency with the languages, the inconsistencies with the technology, and the historical inaccuracies (were there any accuracies?). Oh, and I kept expecting the saber-toothed tiger to barge in at the end and pwn, but nope! It just plain disappears.
Perhaps some of the massive fortune invested in special effects should have instead been invested in a plot.
