Review of 100 Girls (2000) by Grant W — 04 Oct 2007

Although some witty social commentary and interesting points are made - a lot of things just throw me off. Take for instance Mathew's speech at the end: he wants to full on kiss your clitoris? When I first saw this film at seventeen I told myself I would later understand why that comment was beautiful when my sexuality and sense of sensual sophistication became more developed.

Five years later I'm convinced that this film is just poorly written, but done so so insidiously that you think it's well written. The problem is that you don't even stop to consider that, that comment and many others in the film are totally inane and undeveloped - it's not mature, clever, darkly sensual or anything of the sort!
