Review of 100 Feet (2008) by Michael B — 18 Dec 2010
Not a bad movie, just a lot of inconsistencies and noticable cut-backs. The story is one of a kind and so well held byFamke. I personally think she had bette roles but this is huge for her, she carries it all the way. I can't help it, being flemish that I slightly hear her dutch accent from time to time. The haunting of the ghost, her husband is nicely done and rather scary. Only the fact that she is able to actually harm it doesn't match. I also liked her uprising against him, it made it a lot more intresting. Also the fact that she must stay in doors has it's charm but also a lot of flaws. So is the grocery-boyfriend, which I found did not add up, I mean isn't she a bit to old,...
One realy strong point, that should have been worked out more is the notion that she is actually going insane or something. Therefor near the ending it kind of strays. Mostly, also for the ending, the interaction with the ghost is weird. But nice movie though.
