Review of 10 Years (2012) by Philip P — 18 Dec 2012
Didn't expect too much going into it, and I was very surprised at how well the story is put together. This is the first movie with a big cast of good and well known names that uses them all to the best of their abilities.
The story jumps between multiple stories of the friends at their 10 year high school reunion and they all flow very well. The one moment that stood out above the rest was when Oscar Isaac finally sings the "hit song" every one talks about leading up to it, and you find out he wrote it for a girl he liked in high school who never heard it until that moment.
That scene brought the movie to a new level for me and really brought it home. It is full of a few funny moments mixed with a lot of drama that panned out with the friend's lives and stands as a great film that is recommended and well worth the watch.
