I picked this movie specifically because I read middling reviews of it.... I wanted something not too dramatic (so no Life of Pi which was probably my first choice) and nothing too out there or wacky... Its mainly an ensemble movie though no one actor really stands out or is the focus.... The cast includes Charming Potato (fresh from his Spuddy Cop movie), Chris Pratt (Parks & Rec ftw), Justin Long, Rosario Dawson (Clerks II rofl), Aubrey Plaza (my <3), Kate Mara (House of Cards), Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights), Brian Geraghty (Hurt Locker), Oscar Isaac (Sucker Punch), Max Minghella (The Social Network), Ari Graynor (Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist), Jenna Dewan-Tatum (Step Up 1-23), Anthony Mackie (8 Mile), Nick Zano (Happy Endings), Aaron Yoo (Nick and Norah's...), & Ron Livingston (Office Space)...

I really just wanted to rent something that Marie could easily ignore or just skim with little to no problem... and it was kind of a slow burn... it all takes place in one day. People fly in and meet up, go to the reunion, and then the after party... everything just kind of comes together as the movie progresses... theres some great characters that everyone can relate too. Theres some of the expected comparing and contrasting what was and what is... theres a fantastic song written and performed by Oscar Isaac who is playing a famous musician everyone is hounding for pictures/autographs... by far the best part was when a teary-eyed Marie turned and said "I really liked that movie"...

So make sure to have a Marie present when you watch :).
