This is everything a teen movie should ever be. One of the best movies in the year which gave us some amazingly great movies in a great variety of genres. Then largely unknown cast portray a funny, adorable, sometimes stupid,manipulating story.

The fact that its set in an American high school, seems bland but its the actors which sweep you off your feet. Heath, Joseph, Julia are perfect in the depiction of their roles. Its their chemistry and acting prowess, which makes me sure the period-drama-adaptations of this movie would not stand a chance against this high school drama.

The Bard would be proud of this adaptation of his story, and for once in so many years he also gets a screen credit for his contribution.
