Review of 10 Items or Less (2006) by Linh H — 23 Mar 2008
Morgan Freeman kinda sorta just playing himself - an actor who is researching a role for an indy movie at a grocery store befriends a check-out girl there and spends the day with her in her community shopping in Target bashing her boyfriend's car and coaching her for an interview.
Scenes like Morgan buying T-shirts and socks in Target, helping out at a carwash, and riding down the road in a beater car drinking a Slushie are great fun. You get the feeling you're hanging out with Morgan for the day - and that part is fun.
There were also some lulling and akward moments in the film, but over all enjoyable enough; and if you're a big fan of Morgan's then you'll enjoy this even more.
