Review of 10 Items or Less (2006) by Ed J — 27 May 2009
10 ITEMS OR LESS is definitely for Morgan Freeman fans (which I am). Freeman plays an actor who is dropped off at a grocery store in a run down part of the city to do research for an uncoming role in an independant film.
While there, he meets a young woman (played by Paz Vega) whose job is the cashier for the "10 Items or Less" check out line. When she is finished work for the day, she needs to pick up her car at her ex-husband's (Bobby Cannavale), and head out for a secretarial job interview.
Morgan Freeman needs a ride home and Vega's character reluctantly agrees to drive him. This movie takes place in one day as it follows their many adventures (including a shopping spree at a Target store).
Although, this film consists of much dialogue, it is not boring. I really, really liked this movie.
