Review of 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) by Neil P — 05 Aug 2016

The question of whether it's a sequel to "Cloverfield" is a big part of the film but whatever the answer is the good news is that it's nothing like "cloverfield" and is actually a pretty tense thriller.

The question of whether they are imprisoned by a madman or saved from an apocalypse is the driving force of the film. The cast are very strong with Goodman showing a great range that keeps us guessing.

Nice to see how with a limited budget and closed setting film-maker still consider having an interesting story. A pleasant surprise.
