Review of 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) by John L — 13 Aug 2016
Tautly written and well executed in a manner that keeps ratcheting up the tension until the denouement, both John Goodman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead carry the leads in this 3-hand film with excellence.
John Gallagher Jr. is very good in a supporting role, and it's a superb start for Dan Trachtenberg in the director's chair with his first feature film. Has a couple twists at the end. Don't leave early as it's not over until it's completely over! Very deserving of the 90% Certified Fresh (I don't always agree with the Tomato Meter).
