Review of 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) by Anshiman — 05 May 2016
Shot with a pleasant paradigm shift from the found-footage style that 'Cloverfield' so famously helped popularise, 10 Cloverfield Lane is a powerful but wonderfully strange air-tight narrative about looking life in the face.
Its transition from a suspense thriller to a balls to the wall science fiction film shows its subversiveness - and flaunts itself proudly as an experiment - something that so many sequels (spiritual or chronological) dare not do.
