Review of 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) by Stuart F — 15 Dec 2016

10 Cloverfield Lane. I love that this movie popped out of nowhere 2 months ago saying "hey, want another Cloverfield movie without really knowing what it is going to be about? Sure, here you go".

I went into the cinema on Thursday night having no idea what to expect. And I realised how rare that is. I roughly knew who the actors were but I didn't know who the characters were or how they knew each other.

I didn't know if it completely related to the previous Cloverfield movie or was some clever twist. I loved not knowing. The performances were excellent and the movie was just incredibly tense. I recommend this movie more to people who enjoy psychological thrillers over alien invasion movies.
