Review of 10 (1979) by Todd H — 27 Sep 2008
Blake Edwards has made some terrific comedies, including several "Pink Panther" films. "10" has to be included in Edwards's greatest hits list, with side-splitting laughs arriving scene-after-scene and the very likeable Dudley Moore as the film's protagonist, a songwriter whose responses to a mid-life crisis go to hilarious extremes.
(An extended bit with Moore on painkillers is inspired.) Heck, even Bo Derek provides a nice performance as the object of Moore's sexual attentions.
