Review of 1 Giant Leap (2002) by Alexander B — 04 Dec 2009
Critics will tell you that this movie is about humans becoming one or oneness and that it didnt deliver to their expectations.
What they missed was that the message of oneness is a premise they seek to prove through the use of music. And they succeeded.
Perhaps if you venture forward to understand anothers culture purely through its indigenous foods, music and celebrations, you may find you either have more in common with them and or enjoy what they have to offer.
In the end, what makes us different is our desire to make ourselves different, but then if we all do this perhaps were all more alike than we want to admit.
Fear the Russians in the 70s, fear the Japanese in the 80s, fear the Chinese in the 90s and now, fear the Arab.
