Review of Yuva (2004) by Duncan W — 24 Nov 2008

I did enjoy this film for the best part. There are a few incongruous songs that didnâ??t quite fit in with its generally gritty and realistic feel. If this is truly representational of politics in India then it almost makes me appreciate our flawed political system.

There is a fantastic showdown between the three main male protagonists on a bridge that is real edge of the seat stuff. Good performances all round but it was a little too bleak for me to want to revisit this film any time soon.
