Review of WolfCop (2014) by Aaron W — 13 Jun 2014
You have the applaud the effort, you really do, but Wolfcop doesn't do a good job with the genre shift changes and bad pacing. You'd think with the concept and plot already developed, you'd enjoy a cheesy 80's style grindhouse flick full of action and gore.
Instead, the movie mulls round for a solid 30-40 minutes until he goes on his first kill spree. The plot amps up with a supernatural element and the climax is decent, but ultimately the bad acting and filler really bores you when it should be making you smile.
Wolfcop has great make up effects, but everything seems secondary. I would watch a sequel, but only if the plot looks good.
