The critics are obviously not reviewing the movie as much as they are judging it without basing it on it's merits. The acting is incredible! James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe give amazing performances! This is the best telling of Frankenstein and Igor's relationship and brilliantly done.
It is the best movie I have watched in a theater in many years. I am so over the opinions of egotistical critics who expect their words make a difference. If a movie is not in their taste arena it gets pelted with their verbal feces.
This isn't a remake or a retelling because this has not been approached in a way it is here. I love the movie enough to see it again in the theater, and I don't remember the last movie I was willing to pay to watch again! My daughter, her boyfriend, and my husband also think it is the best movie watched in the theater in years.
