Review of Valkyrie (2008) by Corey C — 06 Jun 2012
Kudos to Tom Cruise for taking on the role of Stauffenberg. The picture accurately (by all accounts) paints Stauffenberg as a true hero, rather than the anti-hero that Speer was, for example. A well-made production.
More hats off for the realistic portrayal of Hilter rather than a wild-eyed, shrieking banshee as in similar films (Derek Jacobi comes to mind). Finally, Terence Stamp *ahem*.. stomped the role of Beck superbly.
