As a 25 year old fan of the original 80s Turtles series, and not particularly a fan of the 2003 reboot, I liked it more than I thought I would. Especially since the 80s Turtles are pretty much just relegated to comic relief.
Had to do some wikipedia-ing to figure out what the hell was going on with the 2003 universe Shredder, so it's not quite newbie friendly. The plot is completely wacky but it's kind of awesome and spins the numerous reboots in an interesting light.
Recommended for fans of either TMNT series, but obviously, not anyone else.
