Review of Tugboat Annie (1933) by Ashley H — 02 Feb 2014
Tugboat Annie is a decent film. It is about a waterfront couple who raise their son to be a sea captain. Marie Dressler and Wallace Beery give good performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places.
Mervyn LeRoy did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the humor and drama.
