Review of Timbuktu (2014) by Holly E — 26 Jul 2015
I saw the English subtitles version. The movie was very impactful because it showed me the struggles of a culture living under jihad rule. I hope to God that many of those elements were fabricated and do not occur in those countries, to those people.
It made me sad as I imagined the pain that they live under every day. I wish that I knew the background on this story.
