If you've ever been in a youth subculture - this is for you. And even if you haven't - come visit and understand why. "This Is England" is masterful in its simplicity - especially the Director's willingness to let the actors "be" their characters.
It's layered, moving, honest and represents why we bond as human beings better than most "teen films". It's not "written" it is "lived". Wonderful. One for my collection.
