The most original way to depict sanctity: this is a masterpiece. Everything seems to be little here: the film´s duration, the vignettes, the minimalism, the acting: all things point out Therese famous "little way".
The film should also be acceptable for modern viewers. But don´t expect hagiography or you may be disappointed.
