It avoided the cliche of emotional play offs at the end to a certain extent and some may view that as a bad thing, But this film is brutally honest and the characters handle their situations in a realistic manner.
Mickey Rourke is fantastic and no one could have been more perfect for Randy "The Ram" Robinson.
