Review of The Trials of Darryl Hunt (2007) by Ty H — 07 Jan 2008
A sobering and exhausting account of a horrible true story. Darryl Hunt spends twenty years of his life in prison for a rape and murder based on half-assed, forced evidence, racism, and bad luck.
While I don't hold animosity towards law enforcement or the judicial system, it's easy to see why many blacks would.
Where I would have lost hope in the system and given into blind hatred and misery, Darryl held fast to his faith and hope for freedom. quite a man.
