Review of The Town that Dreaded Sundown (2014) by Charles S — 24 Mar 2018

This one grew on me. Like all Ryan Murphy projects, there are occasional flashes of brilliance, some game performances, and some inspired cinematography, but the film is shallow in it's intentions and gets consumed its' meta tone.

The film remains thrilling and suspensful all the way to the end though, and is saved by the director and producers love of the first film.
