Review of The Times of Harvey Milk (1984) by Adam L — 29 Dec 2008
An extremely interesting and affecting companion piece to Van Sant's "Milk." A must-see if you've seen the latter, or if you plan to. It's great to see all the real footage and the reality of how things went.
It's also great to see how dead-on Van Sant's film was in terms of casting and making the actors fit the bill. Also provides a lot more information about the post-assassination events than is included in the drama.
