Review of The Swindle (1955) by Nate J — 18 Sep 2007
Strong film. the person I watched it with told me that fellini had to change some scenes to accomodate the lead man (Broderick Crawford) because he had such a severe drinking problem. it shows, especially in the last 5-10 minutes of the film.
Crawford's mannerisms are eerily reminiscent of James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano. I enjoyed this film.
