Review of The Return of the Vampire (1943) by Wk J — 12 Aug 2014
Using leftover London sets, Columbia gave Bela Lugosi a chance to play a decent Dracula character named Armand Tesla. He is accompanied by a silly-looking wolf-man played by Matt Willis. All I can say about the film is that it is silly and enjoyable.
Horror movies in the mid-40's had become very psychological, suspenseful, so it was a decent updating of the classic horror genre.
