An Australian Apocalypse Now. Ray Winstone deserved an oscar for his performance of a brutal lawman trying to civilize the country. The elements of the traditional western appear bizarre and surreal and like nothing you've ever seen before.
Especially if you never saw Lawrence of Arabia.
