Review of The Mudge Boy (2003) by Eden S — 19 Jun 2007
The way Duncan chooses to cope over the death of his mother, his desire to fit in with those older guys, and that very awkward scene between he and Guiry-just broke my heart. Hirsch played the town freak with great ease.
He was outstanding, as was Richard Jenkins as his not-quite-stoic father, and Guiry as the also troubled Perry. WOW.
