Review of The Look of Silence (2014) by James O — 14 Jun 2015
Harder to watch than its sister film as it s more raw and less absurd. This is a more conventional documentary and a little too slow to start with. That being said it should be seen to get to the heart of the issue.
Sad and difficult to view as its emotionally draining. Nowhere near the ground breakingly brilliant Act of Killing but let's face it, there was no way it was going to match that cinematic masterpiece.
