If you're a fan of HPL then you'll find a lot to enjoy in this film; if you're not, well it's still funny, has some great characters and doesn't shy away from spraying a little claret.
Yes it could probably have benefited from a larger budget and maybe a little more polish wouldn't have hurt; but it's still a funny, gory, lovely little genre piece.
Go on, give it a whirl, even if it's only for Capitan Olaf.
