Think of Southerners telling a story from the civil war period..and telling only "their" side. The black slaves are smiling, everyone is well-dressed, well-fed and prosperous...and travel in a war zone is safe, fast and done wearing clean clothes.
Yeah, right. Combine that with truly AWFUL acting and you have this movie. I watched it...'nuff said.
