Review of The Landlord (1970) by Sam B — 25 Jan 2011
An interesting time capsule of 70s Park Slope at the beginning of gentrification. Though the satire/message was a bit heavy handed and it wasn't very satisfying as a story or character study. There was some good filmmaking in parts though with good structure and editing.
I thought the last scene was well put together.
