How can you not love Matt Damon? Unless you're Ben affleck? Not a typical role but what is really? For any actor. The whole movie is Matt so if not a fan don't bother. The movie succeeds or fails with him and it succeeds into a stylized smart and at times funny movie.
The movie does a great job into not playing dumb to it's audience and as a viewer you really do appreciate it. Unless you're an idiot who doesn't know a movie is over till there's an explosion.
In that case do yourself a favor and eat a knife.
