Review of The Illusionist (2010) by Jay K — 18 Mar 2011

The best animated drunk character in the history of animation. This is an animated film for animators. some reviews say this film is slow but I think this is a misconception, it may seem like that but it's only due to the lack of dialogue, actually there is a lot going on all the time. It's bold, relatively noncommercial compared to the dominance of pixar style animation and shows that 2d is not dead and in fact still far ahead both in motion and story compared to 3d.

I am going to watch this again for sure.
