This film is incredible. My younger cousin has DMD and I am care giver. Our relationship is remarkably similar Trevor "Craig Roberts" and Ben/Melvin "Paul Rudd". I am personally a large fan Paul Rudd so that brought me to watching the movie, however Craig Roberts performance was spectacular.
His portrayal of a young man with DMD was absolutely spot on. At the moment when Dot "Selena Gomez" first questions Trevor. My cousin turns to me and says " Those are the exact questions I always get, usually in that exact order".
A great film, definitely enjoyed the perfect blend of humor, warmth, and humility.
