Review of The Corpse Vanishes (1942) by Charles P — 28 Dec 2010
It has a pretty silly but managable premise, but this is not a classic Lugosi film from the 30's but a low paying cheap horror from the 40's. Average direction, forgettable dialogue, and well, Lugosi being creepy is what is necessary, and he does what he does best.
I'd go for Ed Wood films with Bela for something better or worse.
