"The Clown" is a film of subtleties, and that choice is the secret of the enchantment that can cause.
His characters and situations, are situated between the comic and tragic. His story makes you laugh and cry in equal measure.
It is this ability to the opposite tack which causes the production to grow by the minute, and save for their final minutes, one of the most beautiful film sequences in recent years, in form and content.
