Review of The Brother from Another Planet (1984) by Stephen N — 15 Jun 2007
Definitely a period piece, and for many people, it cannot transcend decades. A brilliant depiction of the eighties using a quirky view of society. It's something only the mind of John Sayles could create, sometimes funny, sometimes morbidly depressing, any way you spin it, the film has an excellent concept, and in some ways is perfectly executed.
