Review of The Brain Eaters (1958) by Brian R — 26 Jan 2008
TV journeyman Ed Nelson (Peyton Place) and young Leonard Nimoy (in a fake beard) headline a no-star cast in this sub Ed Wood riff on "It Came From Outer Space", "Puppet Masters", "Body Snatchers", and other alien invasions that don't need special FX.
The soundtrack consists largely of a narrator explaining things that have already happened, and the music of Dmitri Shostakovich! For more adventurous fans of Grade Z cinema: don't miss it!
