Review of The Ballad of Jack and Rose (2005) by Josh P — 05 May 2006
One of my favorite movies of 2005. This is a drama with a message that had me from the opening frames and carried throughout the film as the characters of Jack and Rose were both superbly acted by Day-Lewis and Belle.
The excellent supporting cast, great music, and beautiful location added to the emotional impact. Belle is an awesome actress, it is to bad she followed this up with the "When A Stranger Calls" remake.
