Review of The 39 Steps (2008) by Alex S — 08 Apr 2011
I had high hopes for this movie, but I have to say that I was disappointed. The plot is a little different from the original 1930s Hitchcock version, and not only does it pale slightly in comparison, it is rather confusing as well.
The ending especially is not satisfying. Nevertheless, I did like Rupert Penry-Jones as Richard Hannay - he really made the character his own.
