Review of Tetro (2009) by Reza M — 25 Oct 2010
Tetro is by no means my favourite Coppola movie, but there is nothing I can discredit or complain about. Tetro is a magnificent piece of art about family and the need for someone. It's a truely beautiful film, from all aspects of the film, but it's really the performances that make it as special and unforgettable as it is.
Vincent Gallo is an actor and a director that I respect and admire, and he doesn't disapoint here. He's electrifying throughout, that it almost seems effortless. Despite that, Alden Ehrenreich should be mentioned.
He's a force to be reckoned with, I can see real promise for his future. I think it's safe to say Coppola is back on form. Mesmerising stuff.
