This movie is described as a "comedy" but it is more than that. There is also a realism and poignancy to the character's friendships and relationships. It is at once a raw cinematic experience, a campy hoot (some of the dialogue is hilarious), and a melancholic slice of life.

The performances of the leads were anything but amateuristic, the camera work (done on an I Phone or something!) was more than adequate, and the soundtrack music worked beautifully. Yes, it's a movie about tran-sexual "sex workers", but don't let that stop you from being adventurous enough to check it out.

The guys who made this movie are talented; I'm sure they will do more great work in the future. More than most movies that purport to show L.A. as it really is, this one comes the closest and there is beauty in the gritty realism depicted.

Bravo to all involved for a movie that is really different from the run-o-the-mill.
