Review of Sweet Sixteen (2002) by David Ray G — 04 Aug 2008
This is one of the best movies Scotland has ever made. It's down to earth, stunning and grotesque. I won't go as far as saying that it is Ken Loach's best film, but it's among his best.
The performances are true-blue to each character's values and education and even if sometimes it tends to become a bit far-fetched, it's still a work of art.
