Review of Super Dark Times (2017) by Fred Y — 23 Apr 2018
A little like what would happen if Stand by Me and Crime and Punishment and the River's Edge went into the matter transmitter and came out fused. Brilliant performances, very atmospheric, with the focus on what can cause teen and school violence, but without the cliche of guns.
The sword was a nice touch. I agree with all reviewers about the brilliance of Kevin Phillips. But the prologue and epilogue made absolutely no sense.
